Jenna graduated from Duke University with a Bachelor of Arts in Literature and Spanish. As an undergraduate, she was a resident advisor and member of the debating society.

Jenna attended Columbia Law School, where she participated in the Native American Law Student Association moot court competition and served as a staff editor on the Columbia Journal of Gender and Law. She was recognized as a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar in her third year of law school and received the Emil J. Schlesinger Labor Law Prize. As a law student, Jenna interned at the American Society for the Protection of Animals, the New York City Center for Court Innovation, and at the Istanbul office of the Helsinki Citizens Assembly, where she provided legal services to asylum seekers.

After law school, Jenna worked at the New York City Law Department in the Appeals, Commercial and Real Estate Litigation, and Labor and Employment Law Divisions. As an Assistant Corporation Counsel, Jenna represented the City and its employees in a broad range of matters including complex commercial disputes, challenges to municipal procurement decisions and procedures, and challenges to consumer affairs administrative decisions. She also defended cases alleging wrongful termination, sexual harassment, and employment discrimination based on age, race, pregnancy, and disability. 

Jenna left legal practice for several years to serve as the Director of Production and Development for Magic Violet Pictures, where her responsibilities including leading the company in story development, research, pitch preparation, project vetting, and project timelines for feature films, limited and ongoing scripted television series, and a documentary series.

In 2023, Jenna joined Giordano Glaws & Fenstermacher as a litigation associate. She is dedicated to helping her clients reach favorable litigation outcomes efficiently. She is licensed to practice law in the State of New York as well as the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
